My 2nd visit to this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the affable staff extended a warm welcome that remained constant throughout my stay. Their outstanding service is a testament to their commitment to guest satisfaction, always on-hand to assist, offering recommendations with a genuine smile. The culinary journey at the hotel was another high point. The food was not just good, it was a symphony for the palate. Each dining experience left me eagerly anticipating the next, reinforcing that this is a destination for true food lovers. The hotel itself radiates a pleasant ambiance that perfectly balances style and comfort. This harmony created an incredibly relaxing and enjoyable environment, making it hard to leave at the end of my trip. Easy to find location by the motorway junction - and very handy for Bristol too. Excellent early check-in. Large clean room, good shower and comfortable bed. Breakfast - full cooked + cereal and pastries, excellent. And the Marco restaurant was fine too. Maybe expensive for some but the fixed price two course menu for £19.95 was good value. Plus nice bar - with friendly and efficient staff all round. Would recommend and will stay again should we venture this way.

The bed was very comfortable and we couldn’t hear the Road so we slept well. The hotel was well located for slimbridge which is why we stayed there. We ate at the restaurant in the evening and enjoyed the food. We both had pizza and it wasn’t over priced. There was also a set price menu you could choose from. There was also plenty of parking spaces.

The hotel was clean and tidy upon arrival, the staff were friendly, professional and very helpful. The room was an excellent size for the price and it was beautifully decorated and very well cleaned. The tea and coffee making facilities in the room were perfect. A wonderful hotel that I would definitely stay in again
